Applesauce Cake

👨🍳 Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°.
Beat shortening, sugar and egg.
Sift together flour and spices and add to mixture.
Stir in water, walnuts and raisins.
Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes in a 9-inch square pan.
When cool, sift confectioners sugar through paper doily on top of cake.
