Applesauce Bread
Applesauce Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, softened, 1 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1 1/2 c. flour and 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy; beat in egg. Stir together flour, baking soda and spices.
Gradually add to creamed mixture.
Stir in applesauce, raisins and nuts.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour. Cool in pan for 10 minutes; remove and cool on wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
