Applesauce
Applesauce is an easy dinner. Made with apples (mcintosh, dr. mathews or jonathans), 1 c. water, 1 1/2 c. sugar and 2 heaping tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Peel apples, then slice.
Put apples and water in pan and cook about 15 minutes or until tender.
Use a potato masher to mash apples.
Add sugar--about 1 1/2 c., to your own taste.
Add cinnamon; heat for 5 minutes.
