Applesauce is an easy dinner. Made with 4 apples, 1 c. water, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1/4 tsp. cinnamon and 1/8 tsp. nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Peel, core and quarter apples.
Heat apples and water to boiling.
Simmer until tender and smooth (approximately 10 to 20 minutes).
Mix sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg together.
Add to apples.
Heat to boiling.
Remove from heat; freeze, process to can, or cool and eat.
