Apple Walnut Rice Stuffing
Apple Walnut Rice Stuffing is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. margarine or butter, 1/2 c. chopped celery and chopped onion, 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning, 1 1/2 c. chicken broth and 2 tart apples, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Melt margarine in large saucepan on medium-high heat.
Add celery, onion and poultry seasoning.
Cook and stir until onion is tender.
Add broth and bring to boil.
Stir in apples, rice and cinnamon; cover.
Remove from heat, let stand 5 minutes.
Stir in walnuts and parsley.
Makes 8 servings.
