Apple Upside Down Cake
Apple Upside Down Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 granny smith apples, peeled and sliced, cinnamon and sugar, mixed, 2 eggs, beaten, 1 c. sugar and 1 stick salted butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Use a 9-1/2 inch skillet or 8 inch pan.
Toss apple slices in plenty of cinnamon and sugar.
Spray skillet with oil. Sprinkle sides and bottom with a generous amount of cinnamon and sugar. Place apples in skillet.
Mix together eggs, sugar, salted butter, vanilla, flour and baking powder.
Cover apples well. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool slightly and turn out on plate.
