Apple Squares
Apple Squares is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 beaten eggs, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. evaporated milk, 2 tsp. vanilla and 1 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Beat eggs until light.
Add sugar gradually.
Add milk and vanilla.
Sift flour with baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
Add to creamed mixture.
Add apples and nuts.
Spread batter in a greased pan.
Mix 1 tablespoon sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon together and sprinkle on top of batter.
Bake for 35 minutes in a 350Β° oven.
Cool in pan and cut in squares.
Good with whipped topping.
