Apple Salad
Apple Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 large red delicious apples, lemon juice (sprinkle), 1/2 c. celery, thinly sliced, 1/4 c. raisins, soaked in water and 1/2 c. maraschino cherries, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Peel, core and chop apples into bite size pieces (sprinkle with lemon juice so they won't turn brown).
Add celery, raisins, cherries and 3/4 cup pecans.
Mix well.
Add 1 tablespoon sugar to mayonnaise and beat until smooth.
Pour over mixture and toss. (You might have to use more or less mayonnaise.)
Place mixture in serving dish and sprinkle the top with celery seed and the remainder of the pecans.
