Apple Salad
Apple Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained), 2/3 c. sugar, 1 (3 oz.) lemon jello, 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese and 1 c. diced apples (don't peel), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Combine pineapple and sugar.
Put in saucepan.
Boil 3 minutes. Add jello; stir until dissolved.
Add cream cheese; mix well.
Let cool.
Fold in apples, celery, Cool Whip and nuts.
Chill.
Cut in squares; serve plain or on lettuce leaves.
Can use any flavor jello.
