Apple Roll

Heat oven to 350Β°.
In large casserole dish, add butter, water, sugar and vanilla.
Let mixture get very hot.
Stir occasionally.
Roll out dough in a large circle.
Sprinkle with apples, brown sugar and cinnamon.
Mix this and place on dough. Roll up as a jelly roll.
Cut into 1 1/2-inch slices and drop into hot mixture.
Cook very slowly until golden brown, about 1 hour.
