Apple Relish
Apple Relish is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 onions, quartered, 1 tsp. crushed red pepper, 1 c. boiling water, 1 tbsp. salt and 14 large red apples, cored and quartered, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Attach food grinder, using coarse grinding plate.
Turn to speed 4 and grind onions and red pepper in small bowl.
Add water and salt.
Let stand 15 minutes, then drain.
Attach clean grinder with coarse plate.
Grind apples into a 5-quart pot.
Add onion and red pepper mixture, vinegar, sugar and cloth bag filled with spices.
Bring to a boil and cook 15 minutes.
Remove spice bag.
