Apple Pudding Cake

Mix first 3 ingredients together.
Add flour, cloves, cinnamon, soda and salt to first mixture.
Stir well.
Add grated apples and stir well.
Pour into 8 x 8-inch greased pan.
Add sugar and nuts sprinkled on top.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 minutes.
