Apple Pound Cake
Apple Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. flour, 1 tbsp. baking powder, 1/4 tsp. baking soda, 1 c. sugar and 1/2 c. margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
Spray a 10-inch tube pan with Pam.
Mix flour, baking powder and soda until blended.
In a large bowl, beat sugar, margarine and buttermilk about 4 minutes.
With a mixer on medium speed, alternately add flour mixture and egg substitute.
Beat until well blended and fluffy.
Stir in apples and vanilla.
Spread in pan.
Bake 1 hour or until golden brown and a pick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
Cool on wire rack 10 minutes.
Turn out onto rack and cool completely. Dust with confectioners sugar.
