Apple Pizza
Apple Pizza is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. flour, 1 c. shortening (1/2 margarine), 2 handfuls oatmeal, 6 medium apples and 2 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Combine flour, salt and shortening.
Add yolk. Mix lightly. Roll out half to fill jelly roll pan.
Save half for top. Sprinkle bottom with oatmeal.
Arrange sliced apples on this. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over apples.
Roll out top crust and fit over bottom, crimping the edges. Beat egg whites lightly. Spread on top crust.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 minutes.
