Apple Pirog

Cook apples and water until soft in a tightly covered pot. Takes about 10 minutes.
Mash apples when they are soft.
Add sugar, cornstarch, salt, cinnamon and lemon juice to the apples. Beat the eggs slightly in a large bowl.
Add the apple mixture to the eggs.
Blend well.
Pour into pie shell.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour or until knife inserted in the end comes out clear.
