Apple Pie
Apple Pie is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (6 oz.) can frozen apple juice, thawed, 2 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 tsp. cinnamon and 6 c. sliced apples, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Prepare pie shells and set aside.
Mix apple juice, cornstarch and cinnamon until smooth and well blended.
Cook over medium heat, stirring until it boils and thickens.
Remove from heat.
Add apples and stir until well blended.
Pour into pie shell.
Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.
Lower heat to 350° and bake 40 minutes.
Can use 2 crusts or prepare as a Dutch apple with cinnamon, brown sugar and margarine mixed together and sprinkled over top.
