Apple Nut Ring
Apple Nut Ring is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 packages (7.5 oz. each) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. ground cinnamon, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted and 2 medium apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced into rings, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 400Β°.
In small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.
Separate biscuits and dip into butter; turn over to coat both sides.
Coat biscuits with sugar mixture; turn to coat completely.
Place 2 biscuits in center of greased 14-inch pizza pan.
Arrange remaining biscuits, edges touching, in rows around center biscuits.
Cut apple slices crosswise in half; place between biscuits.
In small bowl, combine walnuts, raisins and any remaining sugar mixture; sprinkle over apple.
Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
