Apple Nut Bread

Cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs.
Add flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
Stir in lemon rinds, nuts, cinnamon, nutmeg and apples.
Blend into a creamed mixture, putting buttermilk in a little bit at a time.
Pour mixture into a greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
Cool for 10 minutes.
Remove from pan.
