Apple Kuchen
Apple Kuchen is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. margarine, softened, 1 pkg. yellow cake mix (2 layers), 1 (20 oz.) can pie sliced apples, 1/2 c. sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cut the softened margarine into the dry cake mix.
Put this mixture into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Build up the edges slightly.
Bake this for 10 minutes at 350°.
Drain most of the juice from the canned apples.
Arrange the slices over the top of the partially cooled baked crust.
Mix sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over top of apples.
Combine sour cream and beaten egg. Drizzle over top of apples and sugar.
Bake 25 minutes at 350° until edges are light brown.
Do not over bake.
Cut in squares and serve warm.
