Apple Jelly is an easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. tart apples, cut into chunks and 3 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In an 8 to 10-quart kettle, combine apples and 5 cups of water. Bring to boiling.
Reduce heat.
Cover and simmer about 30 minutes or until very soft, stirring occasionally.
Strain through a jelly bag or clean pillowcase.
Do not squeeze.
Measure juice.
Add enough water to make 4 cups liquid.
