Apple Dumplings
Apple Dumplings is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 large granny smith apples, 1 large can hungry jack biscuits, 1 1/2 c. water, 1 1/2 sticks margarine and 1 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Peel, core and slice each apple into eight slices.
Pull apart each biscuit into 3 layers.
Wrap each apple slice with 1/3 of a biscuit.
Place wrapped apples in a greased baking dish.
Bring water, sugar and margarine to a boil.
Remove from heat and add vanilla.
Pour over wrapped apples.
Sprinkle cinnamon on top. Bake at 350Β° for 40 minutes.
