Apple Dumplings
Apple Dumplings is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 granny smith apple, 2 cans crescent rolls (8), 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 stick butter or oleo and 1/2 c. orange juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Peel apple and cut into 8 wedges.
Place an apple wedge in each roll, sprinkle with cinnamon.
Roll as you would a crescent roll.
Place 8 rolls in a pie plate.
Melt oleo, add sugar and orange juice, stir, pour over rolls.
Bake approximately 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
Serve with ice cream or plain.
Good for breakfast.
