Apple Dumplings
Apple Dumplings is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. white sugar, 1 lb. light brown sugar, 2 sticks margarine, 1 tsp. salt and 6 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Make syrup and bring to a hard boil. Add 8 finely chopped apples. Roll dough as for pie crust. Cut into squares. Add a small amount of syrup in bottom of a pan. Peel and core apples. Wrap each apple in a square of dough.
Place in pan.
Pour half of the syrup over dumplings.
Make sure that the top of the dough is secured around apple.
Bake at 350Β° for 60 minutes or until done. Ten minutes before removing from oven, pour remaining syrup on top of dumplings.
