Apple Dumpling
Apple Dumpling is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 - 10 apples, 1 1/2 c. sugar, butter or margarine, 2 c. water and 1 can biscuits, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Peel and slice apples.
In a 9 x 13 inch baking dish, put 3/4 c. sugar, 1/2 stick butter and water, set in 325Β° oven to heat.
Roll out 10 canned biscuits on floured board about the size of a saucer or a little larger.
Hold dough in hand and fill with apples.
Add 1 tsp. sugar and pinch together.
Put pinched side down in hot liquid.
Put pat of butter on each dumpling and sprinkle another 3/4 c. sugar on top with cinnamon.
Bake for 1 hour.
