Apple Doughnuts
Apple Doughnuts is an impressive dinner. Made with 4 c. biscuit mix, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 c. canned apple slices, chopped, 1/4 c. milk and 2 tsp. vanilla extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Combine biscuit mix and sugar; add chopped apples, milk, vanilla, eggs and spices.
Stir until well blended.
Knead dough on a heavily floured board until smooth.
Roll out dough about 1/2-inch thick.
Cut out doughnuts with a floured 3-inch doughnut cutter.
Drop doughnuts, a few at a time, into 400Β° oil about 2 inches deep in pan.
Cook about 1 minute on each side or until evenly browned.
Drain on paper towels.
Bring apple juice and lemon to a boil.
Stir in confectioners sugar and beat until smooth.
Spoon about 2 tablespoons glaze over each doughnut while warm.
Roll half of glazed doughnuts in toasted or tinted coconut. Yield
2 dozen.
