Apple Crumb Cake
Apple Crumb Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 lb. butter or margarine (soft), 1/2 tsp. salt and 6 large apples, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Work flour, 1 cup sugar, butter and salt.
Do not add water. Pat 3/4 mixture on bottom of 9 x 12-inch pan or cookie sheet, ungreased.
Add sliced apples; sprinkle lightly with nutmeg and cinnamon.
Add 1/2 cup sugar.
Sprinkle rest of crumbs over apples.
Place pat of butter here and there.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 1/2 hours or until golden brown.
