Apple Crisp

Place the sliced apples in a greased baking dish.
Cover with a mixture of the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and egg.
Pour the melted and cooled shortening over all.
Sprinkle with the cinnamon.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 40 minutes, or until apples are done.
Good served warm with vanilla ice cream.
