Heat oven to 350Β°.
Grease 13
9 x 2-inch baking pan. Cream 1/2 cup butter and sugar.
Mix in eggs and vanilla.
Beat well. Stir in flour, baking baking powder salt alternately with sour cream.
Fold in apples.
Spread batter in pan.
Mix remaining ingredients and sprinkle over batter.
Bake for 45 to 55 minutes.
