Apple Candy
Apple Candy is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. applesauce, 1 c. sugar, 1 pkg. lemon jello and 3/4 c. walnuts (optional) or 1/2 c. almonds (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Bring applesauce and sugar to boil. Boil for 15 minutes.
Stir to keep from scorching.
Add the jello.
Stir until dissolved. Add walnuts or almonds.
Pour in small 8 x 5 x 2-inch pan. Refrigerate overnight.
Cut and roll in powdered sugar and form. Let stand at room temperature for 12 hours.
Roll again in powdered sugar.
Store in airtight container.
