Apple Cake Supreme

Cream sugar and vegetable oil together well.
Add eggs, one at a time, vanilla and sherry.
Mix well.
Beat in flour and in last cup add soda, baking powder and salt.
Fold in apples and nuts. Bake at 325Β° for 40 minutes in large pan. While hot, top with glaze.
