Apple Cake

Mix oil, eggs, sugar and vanilla.
Sift flour, salt, soda, cinnamon and nutmeg together and blend with first mixture.
Add remaining ingredients and pour into a greased and floured tube pan.
Bake in 350Β° oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
This cake freezes very well.
Serves about 16.
