Apple Butter Bars
Apple Butter Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. flour, 2 1/2 c. quick oats, 1 1/2 c. apple butter, 1 c. butter or oleo and 1 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Sift flour, soda, salt and sugar in mixing bowl.
Mix in uncooked oats; add melted butter.
Mix well.
Press 1/2 of the mixture into a 12 x 18 x 2-inch ungreased pan.
Spread with the apple butter, then cover with the remaining batter.
Pat lightly. Bake at 350Β° for 45 to 55 minutes or until lightly brown.
Cool in pan and cut into bars.
