Apple Butter
Apple Butter is an easy dinner. Made with 2 qt. cooked apple pulp, 4 c. sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1 tbsp. cinnamon red hots and 1/4 c. cider vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Make pulp by cooking apples and running through strainer or Foley mill.
Mix all ingredients and cook until it thickens or desired consistency.
Put in hot jars leaving 1 inch at top. Process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
Test the seals.
I make this in the crock-pot.
Less danger of sticking and much easier.
