Apple Bread
Apple Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1/4 c. butter, 1/4 c. buttermilk, 1 tsp. soda and 2 eggs, well beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Cream the sugar and butter.
Add buttermilk and soda.
Add eggs, vanilla, salt and flour.
Beat well.
Fold in apples and nuts.
Put in greased bread pan.
Top with 2 tablespoons each of the oleo, sugar and flour plus 1 teaspoon cinnamon crumbled together.
Press in slightly.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 to 50 minutes or until done.
Serve warm or cold.
