Apple Bars

Mix flour, sugar, salt, shortenings, yolk of egg and milk.
Divide in half.
Roll out size of cookie sheet.
Sprinkle Krispies on unbaked crust.
Add sliced apples, sugar and cinnamon.
Put top crust on top.
Beat egg white and spread on crust.
Bake 40 minutes at 400Β°. While hot, dribble on powdered sugar frosting.
