Apache Cheese Bread
Apache Cheese Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (9-inch) round loaf bread, 1 (6 oz.) sharp cheddar cheese, grated, 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened, 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream and 1/2 c. minced green onions, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cut the top off bread, reserving top, scoop out the inside. Combine remaining ingredients and mix well.
This will be a very stiff mixture.
Fill the bread with the cheese mixture, replace the top and place on a cookie sheet.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Serve with tortilla chips or the bread you have scooped out.
To save half the baking time heat the cheese mixture in a microwavable bowl in your microwave until cheeses melt and are thoroughly heated.
Then pour into crust.
