Ann's Pound Cake
Ann'S Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. margarine, 1 box confectioners sugar, 6 eggs, 4 c. sifted cake flour and 2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Cream the margarine and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, and continue beating. After all eggs are in, beat for 5 minutes. Gradually add flour and continue to beat. Add vanilla last.
Melt chocolate and add to 1/3 of the batter, alternating white and chocolate batters.
Zigzag with a knife.
Bake in 10-inch tube pan that has been greased and floured for 1 hour and 20 minutes at 350Β°.
