Anise Drops
Anise Drops is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sifted flour, 1/4 tsp. baking powder, 2 eggs, 1 c. sugar and 1/4 tsp. anise flavoring or use seed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Generously grease cookie sheets.
Sift together the flour and baking powder; set aside.
Put the eggs into a liquid measuring cup; add enough water to make 1/2 cup liquid.
Put into mixing bowl with eggs, the sugar and anise flavoring or seed.
Beat until very thick and piled softly.
Fold in dry ingredients.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets, about 2 inches apart.
Set aside in cool place, uncovered, 8 to 10 hours or overnight.
Do not disturb.
Bake at 350Β° for 8 minutes.
