Angel Squares
Angel Squares is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 7 egg whites, 1 c. sugar, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt and 1 c. hot milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Grease bottom only of pan.
Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until soft mound forms.
Add 1 cup sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
Set aside.
Combine flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder and salt; mix well.
Add vanilla and hot milk.
Blend at low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
Pour over egg whites; by hand, fold in carefully just until well combined.
Pour batter into pan and bake at 350Β° for 30 to 35 minutes, or until top springs back.
Frost and drizzle with chocolate glaze.
Serve in squares.
