Angel's Biscuits
Angel'S Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. flour, 5 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt, 3 tbsp. sugar and 1/2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Sift dry ingredients, then cut in shortening.
Add buttermilk. Dissolve yeast in warm water and add to mixture.
Knead lightly. Roll out; cut with biscuit cutter and bake on greased cookie sheet at 450Β° about 10 to 12 minutes.
Dough may be stored in refrigerator, pinching off as much as is needed each time or may be cut, then frozen.
Yields 5 dozen biscuits.
