And 3/4 cup sugar 3 times; set aside. Beat egg whites; add cream of tartar, salt, vanilla and almond extract until foamy.
Add 3/4 cup sugar, a spoonful at a time, to egg mixture.
Beat until stiff.
Fold in flour and 3/4 cup sugar. Bake at 375Β° in a tube pan for 35 minutes.
