Angel Biscuits
Angel Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. dry yeast, 1/4 c. warm water, 2 1/2 c. plain flour, 1 tsp. baking powder and 1 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix yeast and warm water and set aside.
Mix dry ingredients. Cut in shortening.
Add buttermilk and yeast mixture.
Blend thoroughly with spoon.
Refrigerate or make into rolls.
When needed, make rolls and let rise at room temperature for 1 hour. Bake at 375Β° for about 15 minutes or until brown.
Makes about 3 dozen.
