Angel Biscuits
Angel Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. flour, 3/4 c. shortening, 1 tsp. soda, 1 tsp. salt and 3 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Sift dry ingredients together.
Cut in shortening until mixed thoroughly.
Add buttermilk and yeast, dissolved in 1/2 cup lukewarm water.
Work together until flour is moist.
Cover bowl and put in refrigerator until ready to use.
Take out as much dough as needed.
Roll out 1/2-inch thick and cut.
Bake at 400Β° on greased cookie sheet 12 minutes or until brown.
Makes 6 dozen. Dough will keep several weeks in the refrigerator.
