Sift together flour, sugar and soda. Chop in shortening.

Add buttermilk and yeast. Stir well.

Keep covered in refrigerator at least 1 hour or better.

Will keep 1 week.

Flour hands.

Pinch off enough dough to roll into biscuits.

Place on greased pan and let rise 1 or 2 hours.

Bake in preheated oven at 425Β° for 10 to 15 minutes or until brown.
