Angel Biscuits
Angel Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. all-purpose flour, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 c. shortening, 2 c. buttermilk and 3 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Sift flour and measure.
Sift again with dry ingredients into a large bowl.
Cut in shortening.
Add buttermilk and yeast, dissolved in warm water.
Mix well.
Pat or roll out on floured wax paper.
Cut and cook on greased pan in 425Β° oven for 15 minutes.
This does not need to rise and will keep well in refrigerator several days.
