Angel Biscuits
Angel Biscuits is an easy dinner. Made with 5 c. self-rising flour, 1 c. crisco, 1/4 c. sugar, 2 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 3 tbsp. warm water and 2 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Sift dry ingredients together and cut in shortening.
Add dissolved yeast to buttermilk; add to flour and mix.
Knead on floured board.
Roll and cut.
Dip in melted butter and bake 15 to 20 minutes at 425Β°.
