Angel Biscuits
Angel Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour, 1/4 tsp. soda, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1/2 c. shortening and 1 pkg. dry yeast, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix flour, soda and sugar together.
Cut in shortening as for pastry.
Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add yeast mixture and buttermilk and mix until dry ingredients are moistened.
Place in covered container and chill well.
Use as needed.
