Angel Biscuits
Angel Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. dry yeast, 2 c. buttermilk, 5 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. soda and 3/4 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Add dry yeast to water; mix with buttermilk.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Cut in shortening, then add the milk mixture.
Knead slightly and roll out.
Cut with biscuit cutter. Bake at 450Β°.
Do not let stand to rise as other rolls.
May be kept in refrigerator several days in covered container.
