Angel Biscuits
Angel Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. all-purpose flour, 3/4 c. crisco, 1 tsp. soda, 1 tsp. salt and 3 tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Sift dry ingredients and cut in Crisco until mixed thoroughly.
Add buttermilk and dissolved yeast.
Mix well.
Roll on floured board and cut as for biscuits. Bake at 400Β° for about 12 minutes.
Makes 6 dozen.
You may cook small amount and store unused dough in refrigerator in a covered bowl.
Will keep two weeks or more.
