Angel Biscuits
Angel Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. self-rising flour, 2 tbsp. sugar, 1 pkg. dry yeast, 1 tsp. soda and 2 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Dissolve yeast in the 1/3 cup of water.
Put soda in the milk.
Make well in sifted flour.
Put Crisco in the well. Pour milk, yeast well. With hand, mix until dough is stiff elastic
Place in refrigerator 24 hours.
Roll and as needed like you would biscuit dough. Will keep 4 or 5 days in refrigerator.
